Our services

As the oldest gallery in Munich and former “Hofkunsthandlung” (royal art gallery) we demand an excellent quality of the paintings and sculptures we exhibit. For further information on the history of our long-established gallery please click here.

Having a profound knowledge, owner Christine Rettinger is an expert on 19^th- and 20^th-century art. It is her priority to assist in making the right acquisition choices – whether for large collections or smaller and more private ones.

The gallery offers the following services:

Advice on building-up and developing private art collections.

We are happy to pay you a visit at home or at your office to assist you in finding a suitable object or the perfect place for your works of art.

Having excellent business contacts, upon request we act on your behalf on the art market and represent your interests in art sales or acquisitions towards auction houses and other parties.

Collaborating with certified experts we evaluate singular works of art or the total value of a collection.

In matters of restoration we call in experienced restorers who – with thorough care – bring back the brightness to your paintings.

If you can’t find the right frame within our collection of frames, we are pleased to provide you with further frame samples.
